The Japanese pagoda tree (Styphnolobium japonicum), commonly known by its synonym Sophora japonica, is a species of plant in the subfamily of pea family. He is a medium-sized, deciduous tree that reaches heights of growth of up to 30 meters. His natural habitat is Japan, China and Korea as well as occasionally other countries where he is specially cultivated.
The main active ingredient of Sophora japonica is quercetin, which can be found in the flowers of the plant. From these our Sophora Japonica Extract is obtained.
