Arak

The Arak (Salvadora persica), also known as the Toothbrush Tree, is an evergreen, fast-growing shrub or small tree that reaches heights of growth of 2.7 to 6 meters. Its main occurrences are Asia, India and Africa.
From its roots, buds and branches the "Miswak" is being produced, which is used by the local population as a natural toothbrush. That's where his trivial name "Toothbrush Tree" comes from. For industrial use, those ingredients are cleaned, concentrated and grinded into the finished Salvadora Persica Extract Powder.
