Maca

The Maca plant (Lepidium meyenii) belongs to the brassicaceae family and originally comes from the high plateaus of the Andes around Lake Junín. Today the plant is grown on a large scale from Peru to Bolivia and Brazil. In addition to South America, maca is now also industrially cultivated in China in the province of Yunnan.
The tubers of the plant are mainly used, which are said to have positive effects as a sexual enhancer, but are also mainly used as food in South America.
For industrial use the tuber is dried and ground to our Maca root powder .

We offer Maca in the following variants:

Maca root powdered, mixed, organic quality
Maca root powdered, black, organic quality
Maca root powdered, gelatinized, conventional quality
